Ahoy, There!

So, I want to make this blog back alive. Being it's very old and very, very, very...dead, it might take some time! Buuut I'm looking forward to this. I like to just keep journals and stuff like that for my own blog, but I'll definitely use this for reviews of anything basically! Books, movies, news, politics, food, coffee. Anything!! I hope all you joining use it wisely so we don't get a repeat of *ehem* history. :-p

I just gotta name my favorites of stuffs rights nows.

My favorite book right now is The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak. It's an absolutely splending/heartbreaking book of an adopted orphan living in Germany with a family during the WWII era. The development of each character is absolutely fantastic; you'll be able to relate to any character in no time. Apart from character development, the author's style of writing (the narrator is Death, for example) makes you want to laugh, cry, scream...just about anything! I definitely recommend this book to anybody up to it. Definite ***** (5 stars)

Also...for movies. I'd say that Iron Man is the most popular among people. Though I can't help but think of it as a disappointment. The climax was too much of (spoiler alert) Iron Man running and flying away from the bad guy...I mean, wouldn't it be MUCH cooler if he had a spare generator thingy?? That would make the action so much better. Oh, and the action reminded me a bit too much of Transformers (which was way better, anyways). Though...only the action disappointed me. The humor and plot and everything else throughout kept me going. I don't really have favorites for movies this year...nothing really has JUMPED out. BuuuuutI think the best thing I've watched this year would have to be Juno.

Juno= absolutely a fantastic movie. I'd recommend anybody mature enough (it has some scenes and comments and jokes that are a bit more for the higher-aged group) to watch it. It'll be the cheese to your macaroni!

Cheers.
