News:Cali, the worst state ever
Ca legislature just passed same sex marriage, so im sure you all follow me on this one, or need i go into details on exactly what this means? ya i know you dont, but it wont be allowed until the governor, thats Arni(for Bepsy, and Nat) its only in if Arni passes it, but hopefully he will veto it......if he doesnt, well im not sure, but i hope that it wont allow the "gay" marriage sheeple to adopt kids, cuz that would suck hard core for the kids that get adopted by some homo, and yes i am prejedice against queers.......W/Punishment

I heard it was a bunch of Democrats that got the majority of the vote. Obvious. I also heard that Arnold believes that it should be up to the courts of California to decide on the matter, but even then I still hope he will veto it.

I'm one of the few young people who follow politics...so I knew you guys had Arni over there...we had Jesse. I'm glad that MN is a bit more conservative than that (although highly democratic)But I find the whole "gay marriage" thing just wrong. God made us this way for a reason.

Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve! But seriously, do you know what the adoption thing does? Its wrong! One kid made a school call off Mother's Day celebration because the kid had two fathers! Now how wrong is that? They have sympathy for one out of six hundred (which they should, but they dont need to make all the other kids not enjoy the day). Arnold better veto it...

Schwarzenegger says he'll veto same-sex marriage bill
BY MARK GLADSTONE AND AARON C. DAVIS
Knight Ridder Newspapers
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - (KRT) - Less than 24 hours after a landmark same-sex marriage proposal won final legislative approval, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Wednesday announced he would reject the measure and that the contentious issue should be settled by a vote of the people or the courts.
In a two-paragraph statement, Schwarzenegger's press secretary said he respects the legal protections already afforded gays in California as well as overwhelming support by voters in 2000 for Proposition 22 - now under challenge in California courts - that defines marriage as between a man and a woman.
"The governor believes the matter should be determined not by legislative action - which would be unconstitutional - but by court decision or another vote of the people of our state," said Margita Thompson. "We cannot have a system where the people vote and the Legislature derails that vote."
The governor's unusually quick announcement, however, is far from the final word because the issue of same-sex marriage is pending in state courts. Likewise, backers of two more anti-gay-marriage measures hope to get on the ballot next year.

Jesse Ventura (the former pro wrestler)...he did nothing for our state, but everyone liked being able to say "our govenor can beat up your govenor!" I can't stand Jesse Jackson, if he were the gov, i'd move!

" The Governator" yeah thats Arnold's catch phrase as Governer. It seems like people who are famous will become governer one day. Thats weird because people will only vote for them because they are famous and people say he will be good in the office. "Vote for Pedro!"
