So, I noticed that there hasn't been a review on here yet for Rent... here goes!
Oringinally based off the opera "La Boheme" by Giacomo Puccini, Jonathan Larson's award-winning Broadway musical made it's way to the big screen. The film chronicles a group of New York artists struggling with identity and artistic integrity in an HIV-positive world. Roommates Roger and Mark, a songwriter and recovering addict and a guerrilla filmmaker, respectively, must find a way to pay their former roommate–turned–landlord when he decides to renege on his promise to provide them with rent-free living.
I'd give this movie **** <---4 stars. I really enjoyed it. The music was amazing. I know it's a very contraversial musical, and no, I don't agree with everything portrayed in it, but putting all things aside, it is wonderful!

I liked that commercial (howevermany minutes) song...I honestly think it looks good and all (with the music mainly)...but the parents say no and it's not something that looked like it would catch my attention. Great post Steph!

525,600 minutes. 525,000 moments so dear. 525,600 minutes. How do you measure, measure a year? In daylights? In sunsets? In midnights? In cups of coffee? In inches? In miles, in laughter, in strife? In 525,600 minutes how do you measure a year in the life? How about love.

Ouch Mike... ya know, just because you disagree with something doesn't mean it has to die. I disagree with tapioca pudding, but we co-exist quite nicely.
